Supply Chain Specialist BP2/3

iNetwork is seeking a candidate who is a highly motivated self-starter with strong technical skills and is comfortable performing within the environment of a rapidly growing, dynamic, and innovative company.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
 

Pursue innovative improvements in support of SCM initiatives. Provide NAVSUP HQ support for End Use to Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) stock fund transition. Develop a detailed Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for steps required in support of data cleansing required to support the identified initiatives.

 

A detailed understanding of the transition from end use accounting and inventory management to NWCF accounting and inventory management, to include: forecasting of revised points of sale for conversion; summary information on capitalization to include line item counts and capitalization values when warranted; RSupply Unit and Micro SFM for conversion from End Use to NWCF; milestones associated with converting end use activities to NWCF management; forecasting requirements associated with determining the revised points of sale for conversion; the clearing of legacy stock dues and elimination of the Deficiency to Requisition Objectives for NWCF conversion; associated transactions required to support NWCF transition; the steps required to execute BP-28 excess reviews for transition preparations; the transition process to include capitalization into the NWCF; and the requirements associated with MFCS required to support the transition to the NWCF.

 

Manage all command procurement, receipt, distribution, inventory, cost accounting and property management duties. Responsible for the review of all supply policies and procedures. Draft and implement supply instructions to streamline processes for all material requirements and property management. Manage personnel in all aspects of the Supply Chain organization. Enable the command to operate the supply chain organization within Navy and CNO guidelines by establishing standards and practices that fall in-line with Navy GPC regulations with 100% traceability and reduced turn-around time in the ordering and receipt of high priority material. Assure timely processing of all off-ship requisitions by researching technical publications and automated supply information systems to determine alternate sources of supply for fill of all immediate requirements. Process all required reports, ensuring accuracy and integrity, by setting automated run commands reducing man-hours wasted by printing reports and minimizing mistakes with inaccurate data requests or reporting periods.

 

Required Experience, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

4 Plus Years Supply Chain Experience

JTS Government Systems

20% Travel is Required

 

Education: BA/BS Business or Contracts

Knowledge of US Gov’t Procurement Systems
