Network and Storage Engineer NET/STOR1

iNetwork is seeking a candidate who is a highly motivated self-starter with strong technical skills and is comfortable performing within the environment of a rapidly growing, dynamic, and innovative company.
 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
 
- Install and configure HP Blade and iSCSI SAN Systems, Brocade and Cisco Networking Equipment, VMWare ESXi and MS HyperV virtualization software.  Able to use critical thinking and software development skills to resolve installation and integration issues

- Able to build iNetwork’s customer reputation as one that is synonymous with quality customer service, quality, security, reliability, and value

- Document customer issues and resolutions accurately and completely

- Serve as an iNetwork liaison with customer in product development

Required Experience, Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

As a minimum, candidate should have 4 years experience:

 

- Troubleshooting communication & computer information systems

- Knowledge of LAN/WAN specifications and design

- Installing and maintaining LAN/WAN systems using routers, firewalls and switches

- Installing and configuring virtualized solutions incorporating Windows 2k3 and 2k8servers using VMware ESXi and virtualized storage

 

Technical Skills preferred:

 

- Operating Systems: Windows XP, Win7, 2003,2008, VMware ESX/i 3.5, 4.x

- Applications/Servers: MS Office Suite, IIS, Directory Server, FTP Server

- Networking/Security: Brocade and CISCO Hubs/Switches/Routers, CISCO PIX, CISCO VPN, Ethernet Cabling, Fibre

- Storage:  HP P4000 SAN/iQ, FalconStor IPStor, VTL, SIR: Compellent Storage Center; Quantum StorNext File System/Storage Manager;  SAN (Fibre Channel, IP, ISCSI), Qlogic Switches/HBAs, Brocade Switches;  HP EVA CommandView, Replication and Business Copy, VLS, EML, Data Protector; Quantum i500, DXi 5500; Qualstar; SpectraLogic
