Logistics Management Analyst
Duties:
Ensure the development, execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes and products. Develops and maintain technical manuals, spare parts calculations and replenishment systems, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions in support of the newest class of amphibious ship now under construction. Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Communicate effectively and clearly too present technical approaches and findings. Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years ILS experience
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Experience in analysis of detailed logistics information and report development.
- Experience in developing and presenting analysis briefings to senior level management.
- Experience in supporting Logistics Support Analysis tasks.
- Experience performing logistics support analysis (LSA) of existing systems. This analysis is used to update maintenance and support requirements, including personnel, facilities, spares, tools and test equipment, in accordance with MIL-HDBK-502 and MIL-PRF-49506.
- Experience providing technical input to contractual deliverables/requirements, development specifications, and technical drawings.
- Experience participating in integrated product teams, technical interchanges meetings, and working groups.
- Maintains proficiency in logistics functional area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior military/DoD civilian/DHS experience.
- Prior field experience maintaining deployed military systems.
- Prior experience in help desk and customer service operations.
- Familiarity with military communications/electronics maintenance and supply operations and requirements.
